A Portugal Cove man charged in connection with a fatal hit-and-run will return to court in June.

Robert Weston Parsons, 54, is accused of driving the car that struck and killed 15-yearold Matthew Rodney Churchill on the Bauline Line in late March.

Parsons is formally charged with failing to stop at the scene of a motor vehicle accident where someone has been injured, and failing to provide information and assistance to the injured individual.

He's expected to enter a plea when he returns to court June 29.
